Welcome to Santosha Yoga & Holistic Health Center
Santosha Yoga and Holistic Health Center honors, serves, and supports those on the path to self-healing. We believe improving our world begins when individuals develop their personal potential. Whatever your goals might be, Santosha’s teachers and holistic service providers are committed to helping you find physical, emotional, and spiritual empowerment. We have found that a regular practice of yoga can be deeply transformative, and Santosha makes regular practice easily accessible. While our principal teachings are from the Amrit and Kundalini yoga schools, we welcome diversity and strive to offer a variety of tools for development. Santosha is a holistic community for learning and sharing through various classes, workshops, services, and activities. Everyone is welcome at Santosha.
Welcome to the Santosha sangha.
Sangha means spiritual community in Sanskrit, an ancient language from India.
Somehow you found your way to Santosha, maybe to check us out, maybe to try a handful of classes, or maybe to stay much longer. Usually people who show up are in search of more balanced, whole, and happy lives. In our own experiences, we have found that working towards a healthier life can be much easier with the encouragement of a community. A sangha can help remind us of our intentions, and it can help us feel someone cares about us even when we’re not at our strongest.
At Santosha we have found that several strategies, in different combinations and at different times, can encourge a person’s growth. These are some of the ones we teach and practice in our studio:
- Focusing inward.
- Moving our breath; moving our bodies.
- Being open to learning something new.
- Being with other people who have similar goals.
- Spending time with trained holistic practitioner(s).
- Taking time for self-observation and reflection.
We hope you are able to try all or some of these at Santosha and that you feel comfortable in our sangha. Please let one of the staff know if something’s not working for you. We want the caring energy of our community to encourage and support all of us as we stretch into our true Selves.
Santosha will be closed from Monday November 28th through Sunday December 4th.
Look for us after that at our new location: 275 Reservoir Ave. in Providence.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: Santosha will most likely close the studio if Cranston issues a parking ban. If you’re unsure about whether of not we’ve cancelled classes, check on MindBody: Here’s the link!
