Kavita has studied Yoga Therapy as a student of Yogeshawari Kamini Desai, PhD, a process that deals with both physical and psycho-energetic release.
She has received transmissions of both Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) though the 2nd Degree. She received transmission of the Incan Muna Ki shamanic teachings as given to Dr. Alberto Villeldo as 5th generation through friend and mentor Bhakti Prem, and continues to explore shamanic teachings with Isa Guiccardi and the Foundation of the Sacred Stream. Higher Self Therapy was learned from Arthur Collins, based on the work of Gregory Bateson and Milton Erickson.
In these and other practices, she is still exploring and expanding her own realm of experience. Kavita graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2009 from CCRI, with AAS, and practices outpatient physical therapy at Whole Health PT in Pawtucket, RI. She brings to all her teachings and practices the intention of blending both Western and Eastern healing techniques and philosophy.
