Intro to Forrest Yoga

Join us this evening and explore Forrest Yoga!  This evening will be a slow paced class with detailed alignment instruction and demonstration.  Strength and flexibility is not a requirement to do Forrest Yoga.  All one needs to do Forrest Yoga is to “bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.”  “Forrest Yoga teaches you how to Go Deeper, find your Truth, and then, take these gifts Beyond the Mat into the rest of your life.”  What makes Forrest Yoga unique is the methodically created pose sequences that are taught with a compassion to develop and nurture the skills that awaken each of the bodies senses.

Kristen has bKristen Veen practicing yoga since 2001. All of her life she has studied the art of physical movement through various dance forms. She earned her BFA in Dance Education and Performance from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts. Continuing her education, she earned her BS in Physical Education and MS in Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island. Kristen is certified in Forrest Yoga Foundation and Advanced Teacher Training Course’s and Shiva Rea Embodying the Flow teacher training module as taught by Coral Brown.
