Breathing into the Chakras
To begin, we’ll talk about the profound benefits of breath practice (pranayama). Then, we’ll use the powerful combination of pranayama, chanting the seed mantra of each chakra, and asana (yoga poses) to clear each of the seven chakras. The chakras are the seven energy centers that extend in a column from the base of the spine to the top of the head. When the flow of energy in a chakra becomes blocked, we may develop illness, pain, or discomfort. Each chakra corresponds to an area of the body’s anatomy and is associated with a specific color and sound.
As we join together in this practice, we multiply our collective impact. Our individual breathing and chanting becomes one shared resonance, allowing for subtle and deep releases in your body, mind, and spirit.
